Training and coaching for educators to support the inclusion and wellbeing of all children in education and care settings, and in the wider community.

Early childhood professional development
Early Childhood Outreach provides early childhood professional development for educators, services and teams across Australia. Through training presentations, coaching and mentoring, we help early childhood professionals build their knowledge, confidence and capacity to create more inclusive, supportive and responsive education and care environments.
Our approach to ECEC professional development connects professional learning with everyday practice, giving educators strategies and knowledge they can apply within their own settings.
Supporting inclusive early childhood education
Early Childhood Outreach focuses on supporting the inclusion and wellbeing of children with neurodivergence, developmental delays or disabilities in early childhood settings. Rather than working only with the child, we build the knowledge, confidence and capacity of the educators, therapists and other people around the child.
Our EC inclusion training and EC inclusion PD help educators develop their understanding of individual children and consider practical ways to support participation, communication, play, routines, sensory needs and behaviour.
With flexible delivery and a practical focus, our EC inclusion courses provide professional learning opportunities for individual educators and whole teams.
Professional development for ECEC teams
Professional development for ECEC should be relevant to the children, educators and environments where learning happens. Early Childhood Outreach offers training and support designed around the realities of early childhood practice.
Our early childhood professional development courses cover a range of topics, including Autism, communication, play skills, sensory eating, challenging behaviour, toileting, routines and creating inclusive environments.
Professional development can be completed through face-to-face or online learning, with live and on-demand options available. This flexibility allows educators and services across Australia to access learning in a way that suits their location, team and professional development goals.
Practical training, coaching and mentoring
Through practical professional development, coaching and mentoring, Early Childhood Outreach helps early childhood professionals better understand children’s individual needs and apply inclusive strategies within everyday learning environments.
Our coaching package options can be tailored to the needs and size of your team. Coaching can include in-centre observation and reflection, training presentations, online check-ins, live webinars, pre-recorded learning and resources to support educators.
This combination of professional development courses for early childhood educators and individualised coaching gives teams opportunities to build knowledge, reflect on their practice and consider how strategies can be applied within their own environments.

Our mission
Early Childhood Outreach supports inclusion of children with neurodivergence, developmental delays or disabilities in education and care settings.
We do this by building the knowledge, confidence and capacity of the educators, therapists and everyone around the child.
By travelling across a wide area, and offering support in a range of formats, we ensure that those in regional, rural and remote areas have the same access to quality professional development and support as those who are closer to a city.
