ABOUT OUR TEAM
Andrea Broughton was born in the UK, and first qualified as a teacher there. After spending three years in South Africa, she and her family arrived in Australia in 1999. She has taught preschool and primary aged children in all these countries.

Her passion and skills in inclusion have grown over the past 13 years during which she has worked in Early Intervention, Inclusion Support, as a Children’s Services Advisor at DET, and now for the past 4 years as an Inclusion Consultant running Early Childhood Outreach.
​
She has completed training in Sensory Processing Disorder, Hanen communication training programs, DIR Floortime,
Karen Stagnitti’s Learn To Play, Bridges out of Poverty, Family Partnerships and ASD in ECEC (DETand Monash).
​
She founded Early Childhood Outreach in 2018 to support educators in rural and remote areas of Victoria and is now supporting educators across the country.
​
Through training and coaching, Andrea has built a strong reputation in supporting educators to build their confidence in including children with neurodivergence, disabilities and developmental delays into their Early Childhood programs.
