One team, different learning needs

Every team is unique, and so is every early childhood educator. We all learn, process information and apply new knowledge in different ways. That’s why, at Early Childhood Outreach, we believe early childhood professional development should offer the flexibility to meet different learning needs.

Some educators learn best together. They value the opportunity to meet as a team, discuss experiences, brainstorm solutions and plan their next steps. When it comes to professional development, having a presenter onsite allows them to ask questions, share ideas and connect new knowledge directly to the situations they encounter in their own setting.

Others prefer to learn independently. They may need quiet time to reflect, space away from other people, or the freedom to move around while they think. For these educators, online, pre-recorded training offers the flexibility to pause, take notes, reflect on a new idea or revisit a section before moving on. They can even combine their learning with a walk or other physical activity.

For some educators, processing spoken information in English can be challenging. They may benefit from a live presenter who uses gestures, body language and visual cues to reinforce meaning. Alternatively, pre-recorded early childhood training allows them to pause, check unfamiliar words or concepts in their own language, and rewind or replay sections as often as they need.

One Training Booking, More Ways to Learn

We recognise that there is no single approach that works for everyone. That’s why every Early Childhood Outreach group training booking for 2027/28 can accommodate different learning preferences, helping your team access early childhood professional development in the way that works best for them, using SRF or any other funds.

Each group training booking covers up to 20 participants. If fewer than 20 educators attend the face-to-face or live session, you’ll receive a coupon for the remaining places, allowing those educators to complete the pre-recorded on demand version at a time that suits them.

You can even plan for different learning preferences from the beginning. If you know that some educators would benefit more from pre-recorded training, simply let us know when you book. They can then complete the same professional development during the same week as their colleagues, but from their own location and at their own pace.

Because inclusive professional development starts with recognising that everyone learns differently.
